Key points …

  • DLR Guard with cross grip (grabbing same side as the DLR) and grip pants
  • Take him over (pull collar) and off balance him, so he places his hands on the mat.
  • Before squares up, change your angle (turn the corner) so hip is facing the leg
  • Move out by using the foot to create a bigger angle (should be facing the bum)
  • Finish sweep by pulling the gi backwards.
